You can't say BioWare doesn't listen to their fans, because they're asking for feedback and criticism all the time.

The latest example of that is a new Mass Effect 3 survey that asks the community about the title's multiplayer element. This particular survey wants feedback on design, difficulty, and general atmosphere for 19 Firebase maps.

The survey is only open for one week so if you have significant knowledge of ME3 multiplayer, you should weigh in. Remember that this was the first entry in the franchise to boast online multiplayer, so it's not surprising that BioWare wants to know what gamers thought of the effort. What's next? Multiplayer for Dragon Age III: Inquisition ? We're not even sure how that would work… But you can probably expect multiplayer to return in the new Mass Effect , which won't be a sequel (as BioWare reminds us) and utilizes the new Frostbite 3 engine.

I guess multiplayer in games like these elongates a great experience for many. But for me, when the single-player adventure is over, the game is over. Yeah, sorry, I'm old.

It was a surprisingly great multiplayer mode. But I for one just can't be bothered with multiplayer for any game these days. Sorry, Bioware.

Bioware really, really care about their customers. Gotta love'em.

Can't wait for both the next Dragon Age and new Mass Effect. Two of the greatest franchises of the generation.

Hmm. This didn't give me any opportunity to talk about what I consider to be the real issues with the multiplayer in ME3. It was just a "rate the maps" survey.

Oh well.

Greatest ever… still play it, and keep playing till the servers go down or MP for the net ME goes online.

I played the multiplayer to just get all my war assets to 100% and then went back to playing the DLC to ME3. As for the multiplayer, it had some fun moments although being kicked off before play happened about over 50% of the time. I must have gotten to the MP component too late for some players. That or they mostly felt that just a soldier was not worth having on the team.

Other than that I had some good moments with some people who knew how to teamplay and had a moment where I was the only one left and I could hear the chatter of people pumping me up to just stay ALIVE and finish the round. Good times.

Some of the maps were a bit not well layed out but over all a decent MP for someone like me that does not really touch the MP components of games.

I am sure there will be plenty of feedback to Bioware as there was when regarding the ending. All I could say to them is well done of a first try at MP. I think they succeeded.

But I still rather play single player/campaign with a hint of coop. ūüôā

Keep Playing!

I wish there was some part of this survey that you could complain about the terrible system the multiplayer has for obtaining new guns, and or upgrades

Agreed, buying those character/weapon upgrade packs with in-game earned currency shouldn't have produced such random and usually worthless results. I wonder how many people actually spent real money on them?

I was 100% opposed to multiplayer in Mass Effect but it turned out a lot better than I expected. It's been a great mode and I'm interested to see how they deal with it in the next Mass Effect.
