As you might expect, the rumors were indeed correct.
Activision has confirmed that the next piece of downloadable content for Call of Duty: Black Ops II : It's called Uprising and it'll launch exclusively on the Xbox 360 on April 16. It'll come to other platforms later.
Uprising boasts four multiplayer maps (Encore, Vertigo, Magma, and Studio) along with a new Zombies mode called Mob of the Dead. This will let players explore the legendary island prison of Alcatraz in San Francisco, which is apparently overrun with swarms of marauding undead. Interestingly enough, Activision has tapped some major Hollywood talent for this mode: Ray Liotta ("Goodfellas"), Joe Pantoliano ("The Sopranos"), Chazz Palminteri ("The Usual Suspects") and Michael Madsen ("Reservoir Dogs") will be featured. Of course, all those guys have a laundry list of great film credits.
It seems they're all Prohibition Era mobsters and are imprisoned on Alacatraz, so I guess it's up to the player to help them out when the zombies make a mess of things…? Well, whatever, at least CoD gets some great additional talent. We'll let you know when the Uprising expansion lands on the PlayStation Network.

I liked chazz as Sonny in Bronx Tale myself. Man they should have got Joe Pesci for one of those roles his voice is hella funny. Cant wait to pack a punch that Chicago typewriter that thing will be righteous.
