To this day, I have no idea what sort of drug cocktail was required to conceive of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
But hey, it worked, and the Turtles are still popular. In fact, Activision plans to publish the first of a new trilogy this summer; it's coming to the PlayStation Metwork, Xbox Live Arcade and PC and it's called Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows .
This is inspired by the current Nickelodeon animated series and is a third-person brawler with "hyper-realistic 3D style" and "true-to-life" landscapes. The combo-driven battle system should also be intriguing, 'cuz we can learn all sorts of awesome moves with Donatello, Leonardo, Raphael and Michelangelo. Red Fly Studio is handling the game's development; they previously produced Thor: God of Thunder and the Wii ports of Ghostbusters: The Video Game and Star Wars: The Force Unleashed 2 . Okay, nothing too stellar but still…
