If you're looking for some old-school role-playing goodness, you can always turn to the acclaimed Persona franchise.

And if you missed out back in the day, here's some good news: The original PlayStation title, Persona 2: Eternal Punishment , has been recently rated by the ESRB for the PS3 and PSP.

This almost always means that the game in question will end up being a digital offering on the PlayStation Network. Also, let's not forget that the very first Persona game on the PlayStation – Innocent Sin – made its way to the PSP back in 2011. So it's not all that surprising to see the sequel follow suit; for those who loved true turn-based combat , which was so prevalent in those days, this is a godsend. And yeah, you get the old-fashioned graphics but so what? Gives it some character, some nostalgia. Only those of a certain age can appreciate it, though.

If you'd like to catch up on many of the classic RPGs from yesteryear, you should definitely check the PSN. There are plenty on there.

I still have a lot of grinding to do in Persona 4 on top of my PS3 backlog, but I'm still dying for a Persona 5. Someone please just tell us it's in development and will be turn-based!

Sadly… I've yet to actually finish a Persona game. I've started P1-3 all on the PSP and P3 on the PS2 but haven't beaten any. I will say, however, that they are fantastic games and I really need to kick my arse back into them… but alas… I can at least get back into P3 with it being on the network.

I need to have the ability to manipulate the space time continuum so I can go back and play all these rpgs again. I loved the first Persona that came out. WHY DO I HAVE TO WORK FOR A LIVING!?!?

End of Line.
