Mass Effect 3 Co-Op DLC Implements Single-Player Progress

More Mass Effect 3 downloadable content is on the way, and it could be beneficial to those who have done everything they can in the single-player campaign.

An eagle-eyed gamer picking through a recent patch (and as posted at Clevern00b ) found some info on the new DLC, and it'll supposedly incorporate players' single-player progress.

This means that all the Paragon/Renegade points you've earned, the reputation choices you've selected, and other decisions you've made will have some impact. Information was also found that references new ultra-light shotgun, assault rifle and pistol materials for multiplayer. And as noted at GameSpot , this leaked information does support the details provided by a Reddit user:

"The day of reckoning is nigh! The Reckoning Multiplayer Expansion brings six new never before seen co-op story missions to the game and new co-op gameplay modes. It provides four new maps to conquer and hazard variations of the Earth maps. It also enables reinforcement packs that offer new kits for the Salarians, Krogans, humans and Volus. In-game reinforcement packs now include three new weapons (Chakram Launcher, Blood Pack Punisher and Adas Anti-Synthetic Rifle)."

Is anybody surprised that DLC keeps coming for Mass Effect 3 ? Or do you just not ask questions and appreciate the support by the BioWare development team?

I like the support but not the pricing.

I did enjoy playing ME3 despite the ppolarizing ending and honestly played its multiplayer a lot more than I should have. But I've since moved on. It's good to see the game still getting a lot of post-game support.

As much as I enjoyed it, I'd probably just wait until the inevitable complete (aka GOTY) version comes out instead of purchasing the DLCs separately. That's the same reason why I saw the ME trilogy as a botched opportunity to release the complete versions of all ME games in one go. But hey, I'm no marketing guy.

I sorta got bored about half way through. I'd like to finish the game some day (maybe while I wait for an affordable price on PS4) but I don't need any DLC. I do like my femshep. She's the shyt yo.

Well, at the very least I gotta hand it to them for the support. They really have done a exemplary follow-up of this release.
