Well, at least it hasn't slipped too far, right?
As part of EA's Q3 earnings report, we have learned that Insomniac's first multiplatform effort, Fuse , has been unfortunately delayed .
Initially scheduled to arrive in March, the title formerly known as "Overstrike" has been pushed into the second quarter of the year, so it's now slated to arrive between April and June. The team that brought you Ratchet & Clank and Resistance shifted gears for this project, which is a third-person shooter that focuses on four-player co-op entertainment. The game went through a controversial design change during the development process (some say it went grittier and more like modern shooters), but Insomniac swears that Fuse still "has a sense of humor and fun."
We certainly have high hopes for it, even if it was a little sad to see Insomniac leave Sony's stable of awesome exclusive studios.
