Sony has some cool incentives goin' on in the first quarter of 2013, haven't they?
During the month of February, if you can convince someone to purchase a PlayStation Vita, you'll nab a $20 PSN credit and 1,000 Sony Rewards Points . But it doesn't stop there, you lucky gamer you.
As revealed over at the PlayStation Blog , from now until March 4, 2013, buying a one-year subscription to PlayStation Plus grants you three free months.
So yeah, that's 15 months of Plus for the price of 12, which isn't too bad. Don't forget that Plus and the Instant Game Collection is available on the Vita, "for a combined savings of $2,472 for the year." In addition, they just released the Classic White PlayStation 3, which features a 500GB hard drive and a voucher for Plus- If you redeem that voucher during this special promotional period, you'll automatically get those three extra months. Plus comes highly recommended from us, as the amount of savings, coupled with the early access to betas and demos, cloud storage, and other nifty bonuses, makes the elite service well worth the cost.
So if you've been resisting Plus so far, now's the time to take the plunge.
Awesome discount, still on the fence about renewing though. I love plus but the difference in quality between content in North America and Europe is disheartening.
My 30 day trial is about expired. I may consider doing more PS Plus if I get a Vita. I noticed there's a pretty healthy lineup of Vita games to play with the service active. I wouldn't mind being able to play through a few whole games while I'm honeymooning new hardware.

Yes its soooo worth it if you get a vita! It about doubles the value of it
Sounds like a sound plan to me.
Wow, just wow. That is criminal activity right in text. Major steal if you aren't a PS+ owner already. I am good until 2/14 so I won't get this. But it is tempting as subscriptions stack.

UK ps plus list for February has been released! Sleeping Dogs is the highlight.
Oh and Wipeout for the vita!

Wow, you are getting Sleeping Dogs for free with PS+ in February!? EU gets all the great games! However, I do believe US PS+ will get it at a later time. We just received Darksiders and that was one of the first games EU received. I just wish they would release all PS+ freebies to all regions simultaneously.
Edit – Also just notice Vita US PS+ is going to get Ninja Gaiden Sigma for free tomorrow!!! I have been holding on buying it for this reason! 🙂

Ninja Gaiden for US PS+ subscribers. That's great.
Us UK plusers also have an additional 3 month discounted subscription on offer.
There's no excuse not to be a plus member. Absolute bargain!
I wonder if there will be much new stuff in PSN with the PS4. I expect cross game chat, but other than that… What else might Sony have in store for us? I am really, really curious!
I have been a plus member from the start, but sony has really added the icing on the cake for this program as of late. If you don't have it, then you must really like to waste money.
I'm a plus member from the start – but with the stoppages and bonus time and everything I honestly have no idea when my subscription runs out. But with this promotion going on it doesn't look like i'll have to worry about it for another 15 months.
i have had plus since it came out. the value of it is totally worth it. i dont really buy much off the store anymore since i may get it from plus anyway. it helps with that i want a new game feeling you get. every week you get something new. if you like it or not is the difference.
a few months ago they sent me a message on the psn. it said they wanted me to come back to plus so here was a free month to inspire me to get plus. funny as i have been a plus member the whole time. it stacked on to my account and i got the free month anyway. sweet.
i think i will take advantage of this if i have the money. i usually just renew my plus when i get my taxes.
It really is SUCH a steal, especially if you have both a Vita AND a PS3. The first wave of free Vita games was unbelievable — nearly every game released to that point that I was interested in was included in the price. The value proposition is off the charts.
