We knew it was coming to Japan on April 25 ; now we know it'll be available in North America and Europe at the same time.

As the press release announced, Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen will launch in North America on April 23 and all across Europe on April 26; this new updated version can be purchased in physical disc form or as a digital downloadable file. There are new missions, new enemies, and a brand new area to explore!

Check out Bitterblack Isle where gamers will embark on an all-new quest to discover an underground kingdom, which of course includes never-before-seen enemies and special treasure. Those who have played Dragon's Dogma in the past will be able to export their existing characters and all other saved data so they can continue their journey in Arisen . You'll get even more powerful, too, thanks to fresh "high-level skills and augments" along with new weapons and armor. Plus, if you own the original game, you'll receive 100,000 Rift Crystals, unlimited Ferrystones and the Gransys Armor Pack. Cool bonuses!

A lot of this expansion was based on player feedback, too, so the developers have made improvements to the experience, such as easier travel and a "more intuitive menu system." If you're a role-playing fan, you should definitely check this out!
