Haze is shaping up to be a very anticipated title, and there have been rumors that it would be exclusive to the PS3. Well, Ubisoft has confirmed that the PS3 will indeed be the "lead console" for their unique FPS, but the game is still scheduled for multiple platforms.
"Haze is leading on PS3, but no exclusivity for any platform has been officially announced," a spokesperson told GameSpot.
There is still some debate on this topic, especially because Free Radical's Director, Steve Ellis, has already said the game would be available on the PS3, Xbox 360, and PC. So at this point, it appears Haze will appear first on the PS3, with versions for the other two platforms appearing at a later date.
"The architectures of PS3, X360 and high-end PC's are fairly different, but they all have one thing in common – parallel processing," said Ellis. "The challenge for us has been in designing a solution that will work well across the platforms."
For now, the release date for the PS3 version is still tentatively scheduled for "November 2007," and there is no estimated date for the 360 and PC versions. For all the latest information on this increasingly popular title, check out our preview .
