If you're a zombie lover, you're probably hoping to see Dead Rising 3 at some point.

The good news is that fresh evidence indicating a new sequel has been located by All Games Beta , which cites the LinkedIn resume of a rigging supervisor of animation at Blur Studio. The resume does mention the third entry in Capcom's zombie-slaying franchise.

Capcom hasn't officially confirmed the title just yet but for the record, Blur Studio has been involved in variouus projects in the movie, TV and game industries. In the past, they've worked on Guardians of Middle Earth , the forthcoming Bioshock Infinite , and "The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo." And this isn't the first time we've heard talk of a third Dead Rising , as last year we heard a rumor that the third installment would ditch protagonist Frank West and instead feature a mechanic named Rick. We also heard the setting would be the fictional city of Los Perdidos, California where there's a – surprise! – zombie outbreak.

This series does need a shot in the arm, as Dead Rising 2: Off the Record just didn't cut the mustard.

I hope they stop with this 360 exclusive stuff, I like this franchise but I admit the games are barely decent.

what for?
dont we have enough mindless zombie killing?
cant we have something different and new for a change?
why does EVERYTHING either have to have war, or zombies in it?

They need to fix that multiple mission clock can't finish some of the side missions because the time has run out.
