Well, at least this time it's not a huge delay.

Bioshock Infinite was originally supposed to release this fall, but was unfortunately delayed to February 26. Now, we've learned that the launch date for this hotly anticipated title from Irrational Games has slipped another month .

The new date is March 26. This is due to former Epic Games producer Rod Fergusson joining the team back in August; he said the game would benefit from an extra 3-4 months of polish. That's not entirely surprising, as the studio suffered several key losses over the past year; it started with director of product development Tim Gerritsen and art director Nate Wells, but it didn't end there. It's just good to know that at least the game is still coming. It looked for a while that such losses could permanently cripple the project.

Anyway, when Infinite does arrive, you can expect a lot of anxious gamers, and I'm one of them. Can't wait .

Not too bad except March is crowded!

Yeah, with God of War and now Bioshock coming out in the same month, it is going to be expensive!

It's okay, I approve. Ni No Kuni will need some time and patience to get to grown on me.

I don't mind that it is being released a little later, I'm just a little concerned about the project itself. It's no secret that there has been some trouble with staff leaving during the production. I just hope it doesn't effect the series, especially as it is attempting to bring a new direction for the franchise.

I fully share your concerns.
Also cause there's been an eternity since we say any new promotional material. No new videos (as far as I know?), very quiet.

I have become worried, no less.

… Ore not. Kotaku got a hands on preview that pretty much calmed me down:

One question, is Irrational throwing away the horror of Bioshock with this title?
The cover art certainly doesn't feel like it's gonna be anything scary.

At your age, games are still scary?

go play slender, if you dont shit your pants you can have every cent in my bank account!
but irrationals games never have been scary, it was bioshock 2 which had a horror vibe to it so this was never meant to be a horror game.
makes me wonder what 2K marin are doing now, especially since the Xcom reboot has gone supposedly belly up.

This news is okay with me…February is gonna be tied up with Dead Space 3 for me. Lack of funds only allow me to make one game purchase per month. Sucks I know, but it is what it is.

sigh.
great, so not only is march going to be overflowing with games but now it has to be full of games that will take a long time to finish.
sigh, why is it every time a game that takes forever to finish comes out it always happens when 10 other games do?
you can never give a game the time it deserves!
in this case they should delay it till june, polish it up even more, maybe add a few new things to it.
plus plenty of time to play it then!
