Crysis 3 Hits February 19, 7 Wonders Of Crysis 3 Revealed

Originally, we thought we'd have to wait until March. But it appears one of 2013's hottest titles will be out a little earlier.

It has been confirmed that the highly anticipated Crysis 3 will hit North American store shelves on February 19, and our European friends will get it a couple days later.

Crysis 3 features a futuristic setting – 2047 New York – where Prophet returns to do some dirty work. Sporting insanely sweet visuals and several new additions and upgrades, this FPS could be one of the early front-runners for Game of the Year, provided Crytek does their job (and they usually do). Furthermore, EA has also announced that they've tapped "From Hell" and "Dead Presidents" director Albert Hughes for a fresh online video series entitled, "The 7 Wonders of Crysis 3." This will "set the stage" for the upcoming game by introducing us to weapons, enemies, locations and various gameplay features, so you might want to tune in for that.

Me, I only care about playing this bad boy in February. It should be so awesome; that CryEngine 3 is sweet.

Day one, for *sure*. Even a pre-order might be in place here. And that's not something I usually do.

If you know you're getting it day 1 then you may want to take advantage of pre-order perks. Sometimes places do pre-order bonuses or discounts.

Yeah his is one game I'll never be able to wait for a price-drop on. I really can not wait to get back into that suit.

I'm pretty excited for this, actually.
I'll probably rent it on console and then eventually buy it for PC when it can be had for like $10 by the year's end.

Anyway, I've playing Halo 4 and I'd say I'm about a third of the way in. The graphics are gorgeous, easily raising the technical bar for 360. It's the lighting and atmospheric depth that steals the show. I'm waiting for the game to convince me it's better than Halo Reach. It looks really nice, but it's lacking the more immense scale of some prior Halo battles. Everything i've encountered so far is medium to small scale and that bothers me.
When Reach released Im pretty sure Bungie prided themselves in being able to play in certain km sized battlefields….
Overall it's real cool and that intro CG is very impressive stuff. Like when chief battles that warhammer dude. Wow.

And also, anyone else getting major Covenant Banshee piloting bugs? They're horrible. Near every time, not exaggerating, they just fly straight into the wall or object and get the nose of their aircraft stuck. Even when I hijack the craft, the craft is sometimes permanently logged in the wall. Wierd.
