Hey, you know that Borderlands 2 is a pretty good game. Okay, really good.
And a whole lot of people have responded to that quality. Take-Two has posted up their latest financial earnings , and it's obvious that Gearbox's critically acclaimed title has helped the company's bottom line.
The well-received sequel has shipped 5 million copies since its launch in September, and Take-Two has reported $10.2 million profit on $273 million in revenue for the three-month period that ended September 30. The publisher also revealed that digital sales were up 108%. The really cool part is that Borderlands 2 is one of the most successful releases in 2K's history, and that's always good to hear. By the way, Take-Two reminded us again that Grand Theft Auto V is set for Spring 2013. Don't worry, guys…we really won't forget. 😉
