Rockstar Games Collection 1 Spotted

Rockstar Games is responsible for some of the very best games of the generation. So why not put a bunch of 'em together? Sounds good!

Although it hasn't been officially announced just yet, what is known as the "Rockstar Games Collection Edition 1" has been making the Internet rounds .

It's actually already available for pre-order at a couple of online retailers and the release date is set for November 1, so you have to assume an announcement is coming soon. This bad-ass compilation will be available for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 and feature Grand Theft Auto: Episodes from Liberty City (which includes The Lost & Damned and The Ballad of Gay Tony DLC), L.A. Noire , Midnight Club: Los Angeles Complete Edition, and Red Dead Redemption . For only $59.99, that's one hell of a deal, we say.

It'll be interesting to see what Rockstar Games Collection Edition 2 will include, if there is ever any such thing.

These collections will definitely be a bang for your buck including all that good stuff. If Rockstar is doing this then maybe they'll hear what a lot of people have been saying and release 3, Vice City and San Andreas in a classics collection at some point.

$60 bucks is a great deal for all those games, even if it is gonna be like 60 discs on 360.

i own all of these games except for la noire. la noire also happens to be the only one i have a platinum for out of these games. all of those games are great games and that is an excellent price for that much content. id like to see more of this, kind of like buy 3 get one free.

The PS3 version can technically fit all of them in one disc, since each of those games fit into one DVD. If they do decide to do that, that would be pretty cool. Otherwise amazing deal.

I prefer to get the RDR Game of the Year edition though. That thing has a bunch of DLC value included. If this collection do have the GOTY version, then I might think of getting this, even though I already own MC:LA.

Would be a great deal, if I wouldn't have finished all of them (except for LA Noire, halfway there) already. But they ARE some of the best games of the generation.

Is it only the Episodes of Liberty City or GTAIV as well?

Yes this made me confused… There is a complete edition of GTAIV so why wouldn't they use that. I'm a little skeptical of this myself.

I think I'm gonna stop buying games and wait for these Collections to come out. I already have all of them.

The words "Rockstar" and "Collection" made me jump out of my chair thinking they announced HD Collections of Grand Theft Auto, Max Payne, and/or Manhunt in HD but sadly no.

Looks good. Seems like every developer is releasing a compilation disc this Season but I'd prefer to see HD Collections. All three GTA games in HD would sell 3 million+ copies. Why isn't Rockstar listening?!

Hmm, I could trade in "Red Dead Redemption" and then buy this collection to get the other games that look really good as well.

Will have to decide, especially now that one can pick up GTA IV on the cheap.

This looks like real value I must say…

Q!
