Well, at the very least, it has the appropriate launch date.
What publisher Nordic Games is calling a "totally uncut" version of Painkiller: Hell & Damnation will hit the PC on Halloween (October 31), while "toned down" versions will come to the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC on January 22, 2013. …how come console gamers get the "toned down" one?
Anyway, the PC game will be relatively cheap; $20 for the standard edition and $30 for the Collector's Edition. The latter will feature stickers, postcards, an art book, the official soundtrack, a behind-the-scenes DVD, in-game tarot card, and an exclusive multiplayer skin. When it comes to the PS3 and 360, that will be $30 and there was no mention of a Collector's Edition for the consoles. So wait, not only do we get the "toned down" version, but we also have to pay more ? Sounds a little screwy to me, but whatever.
If you're wondering, Hell & Damnation is a remake of the 2004 title, which was created by People Can Fly ( Bulletstorm ).

Never heard of it. Not buying anything that gives me the lame version.
Oh great, a game from 10 yrs ago that should've been running half decent on a PS2. Stupid PC 🙁
Painkiller was great fun when it came out. Think a more demonic version of Serious Sam with all those endless waves of enemies, but without the humor Sam is known for.
Hmmm, the only Painkiller I'm aware of is Painkiller:Hell Wars, which I have for my original xbox.
The back of the box says there's SP & MP modes, and that the SP mode blast through 20 levels of mayhem & more than 75 species of hell's wildest incarnations. You even get a stake-gun to pin then to the walls
Now I'll have to go sample mine cause I don't ever remember any of it's game-play.
I'm aware of vicodin
Ha, World!
Peracet man myself(chronic back pain)
BTW, I popped Painkiller:Hell Wars in my xbox last night, it was OK, but boy oh boy, the graphics on this 2006 title really show off how badly the game has aged.
