The Unfinished Swan could be achingly beautiful on a number of different levels.

The intriguing and innovative title first showed the world the concept of throwing paint to open up a path, and the developers further insured us that other original gameplay mechanics would be included.

So when is this highly artistic title coming to the PSN? Thankfully, as announced over at the PlayStation Blog , The Unfinished Swan will in fact be finished on October 23. However, if you're a PlayStation Plus member, you can try it out one week early on October 16. How cool is that? Check out the great new video that gives you some background on the development team (Giant Sparrow), and how this whole project came to be. Can't wait!

Cool! I've been keeping an eye on this game, good to see it's releasing really soon. And what's better, is that I have Plus and can get it a week early! I'll have something to occupy myself with till Oct 24th, when GGAC+ releases (on Japanese PSN, but there's hints that it'll release worldwide simultaneously).

I think this game is an interesting demo of how versatile a tool the Unreal engine actually is, in the hands of creative and skilled minds.
