What is this world coming to? All these hot girls playing games…it's all topsy-turvy…the boy's club has been invaded…

GOOD.

Playboy's newest Playmate of the Month is Pamela Horton; the 24-year-old will grace the cover of the magazine's October 2012 issue, and this gorgeous lady of Japanese and German descent is a multimedia artist and – wait for it – an avid gamer. Said Horton:

"I’ve delved into everything—acrylics, pastels, sculpting and even glassblowing. I’ve also always loved video games and comic books, so when I paint in oil, I start with something realistic, but it inevitably scoots off into cartoon territory. I’m definitely prone to the fantastic!"

She's also big into MMOs; Pamela is an "established League of Legends player," specializing with Teemo and Soraka Solo Queue. The artistic side of her is pretty impressive, too, and you can check out her handicrafts at Etsy.com . Then there's her official site , and let's not forget her Playboy gallery . …don't spend too long with the latter.

She has also said she flat-out "loves being known as every gamer guy's dream." Now, as some of you may be aware, PSXE has played host to several pretty gamer gals in the past. There was our interview with ex-pornstar Mia Rose and our chat with another Playboy bunny, the Gamer Next Door, Jo Garcia . So, why not add Horton to the list? And of course, as usual, we invite you to submit a question or two for her.

I can't guarantee I'll ask it but if a lot of you have the same question, I'll consider it. And it goes without saying that queries of an unsavory nature will be immediately dismissed…we keep it classy 'round these parts. 😉

We'll be talking on Monday so you've got time to think.

This just made me smile… I will have to think of a question for her, but this is cool. Who would think a gorgeous women like Pamela would be interested in gaming specifically.

What it shows is how commercial and wide spread gaming really is now, even if people don't necessarily want to admit they are gamers to readily in public.

With titles like "Last Of Us" and "Beyond", I think playing these types of interactive stories will continue to expand gaming, genres and bring more people into the fray.

Q!

She has some Japanese in her so I'd like to know her thoughts on the decline of Anime styled games. Or if she has no thoughts on that, does her artistic nature draw her to more stylized games or is she into the gritty realism trend?

And a whole bunch of unsavory questions I won't mention 🙂

I'm with World on this one. Especially the gritty/realism or artistic question. And yeah… also as World said… what's her opinion on the decline of more Japanese styles, what with her Japanese background and all.

You know, I wouldn't assume that she's familiar with the problems facing anime-styled games just because she's part Japanese. Not all Japanese people are into anime.

That's why I offered an alternative, and I based my question more on her love of colorful comic-like art but having Japanese heritage AND being an avid gamer makes it more than likely that she would have some opinion on the matter.

There honestly is no decline in Anime styled games…it's just the fact that they don't release them out here in the West since Japan is worried that it's a very niche market and it takes a lot more money to distribute than necessary to make a profit.

Or are you asking why "anime-styled games" are decreasing in quality (gameplay/story/setting/etc-wise)?

However she interprets the question I guess. I really meant the overall lack of the style being used anymore.

She's gorgeous. She's also into painting, sculptures and glassblowing. Wow!

*wipes saliva on the floor*

My question for her:

"What do you think of social gaming? Especially in mobile phones. Cause in Japan it's getting out of hands." Something like that.

my question:

"What is your League of Legends name? 🙂 Lets play some Duo Queue!"

What are her thoughts on a Blaster Master sequel?

Ben, you need more well defined boundaries. I think -ALL- my questions are savory… very savory indeed.

But seriously, I just want to know if she likes FF7. If the answer is yes, wonderful. If it's no I missed it, then recommend it… if it's "What's Final Fantasy", then just end the interview right there.

Ben's a freaking genius. Everyone and their mamas are gamers. Him calling out girl gamers lead these hot women to confront him in a one on one "interview".

When I first send Ben the original article on Jo Garcia & then her subsequent tweets, I was hoping I could get the ball rolling on more "gamer girls" articles.

Glad it's happened.

Has she ever heard a Who? If not, she could very well be the wrong Horton.

OK serious questions hmmm.

What's her take on digital games and it being the "future" of gaming

What game(s) is she most anticipating?

Will you marry me?

Ahh, geez, who effing cares.

What, are you going for adult film stars next? Or are you going to do a topic on female celebrates, porn stars, or models that your seriously infatuated with next?

I think you actually did a topic about a female your were infatuated with that had nothing to do with gaming.

Just saying.

Any and all females that have been interviewed here at PSXE came to ME. I did not pursue them for an interview.

I've also never written anything at PSXE about someone I was "infatuated" with.

But hey, what do I know? I only live my life and run this site, which is, of course, nowhere near the level of expertise you have on both subjects.

…just saying.

World, that's far too high a complement. Men have dicks, and as a man, I am insulted to have and relation of manhood associated with this clown.

… sorry to any clowns out there.

Some of us care that there's more gamer girl articles here, whether they also may be Playmates….or not.

Just saying too….

Whether you pursue them or not is besides the point. If a g4 rep or whoever interviews someone at the video game awards and she the pretty celeb says "Oh, I love call of duty black opps 2 and or battlefield."

I bet you make that one of your topics too. I'll gladly take this over ff7 topics.

Your cynicism is what's beside the point. Maybe you don't understand that you don't have to read or like the articles at this site.

Have I ever? Have I EVER done that at all? No, I haven't, because that isn't news.

What, a lame attempt to act more mature than the rest of us? Just shut it. You're embarrassing yourself.

I'm curious to know her opinion as to how to introduce gaming to those new to the hobby. It's a legitimate interest I think a lot of gamers have, but why not pose it as a question to an EPSXE interview guest?

marcusfrommo

Ahh, yes you did do a topic about some supermodel you were infatuated with.

What's next, topics about the future of next gen ps3's and 360's that were rumored to be released 2 years ago on this site and others? Of which you know nothing about.

If you do, your playing it close to the vest until the companies make it public knowledge. Which makes it practically useless.

Ben Dutka PSXE

I've never been infatuated with a supermodel in my entire life. You will STOP telling me what I do and don't do as if you have any damn clue.

You're going to stop posting for a while now.

Ben, we all know the truth. Obviously telling him the truth over and over won't matter. lol What's one dude with a disability going to do to your rep? honestly…

I say it's harassment by pure definition! You asked him to stop and he didn't! And harassment is against this site's policy! So any more… then you have justified grounds for a ban!!

Yes playboy we get it….you're trying to sell magazines by promoting models as "gamers". They all play an MMO, League Of Legends, RPGs and CoD, this has gotten old already…these chicks are as much "gamer" as I am a playboy model.
