If you plan on getting the full Assassin's Creed III experience, you'll probably want to grab all the downloadable content.
And if you've already resolved to do that, you should definitely pick up the Season Pass, which will be available for those who buy the PlayStation 3 version of the game (not sure yet if the same feature will come to the 360 and PC versions).
According to VG247 citing Ubisoft community manager Kristine Steimer, the Season Pass will give you DLC for a "slight discount." This will be included with the Gold Edition of the game, and will also be available to be purchased separately. Remember, this isn't an Online Pass, which requires you to pay a fee to enjoy multiplayer online; this is merely for DLC, which you essentially purchase in one fell swoop. You know you want it all!
Considering just how totally wicked awesome amazing this game is destined to be, the Season Pass wouldn't be a bad idea.
Who sells the Gold version of it? I preordered the game through GameStop, but I doubt that the standard version of the game is the Gold version.
Either way, this might be the first game I'll actually go for all the DLC on.
Oooooo a slight discount!
I'll wait for the complete goty edition.
My thoughts exactly. I might just get AC III: Liberation first since it has lesser chances of getting many DLCs. Besides, I haven't played Revelations yet, and I intend to get that via the Ezio Trilogy pack that will release after Assassin's Creed III.
