It's kind of odd to see such a huge title launch in December. Typically, all the heavy hitters are out between October and November. That's normal.

But that doesn't give you license to overlook Ubisoft's Far Cry 3 , which is almost guaranteed to be one of the best titles of 2012. And to remind you that even after a ton of great games are on store shelves, there's one more you need to get before Christmas, here's a new trailer.

Here you meet the Savages, Vaas and Buck, who are just a little…tweaked. They've obviously been living in the jungle too long, and are relatively convinced you won't get out alive. After all, nobody does. It's a dog-eat-dog world and in desperate situations, you could be the dog. The video also shows off some totally intense gameplay, so get ready for a roller-coaster ride through a picturesque hell.

Far Cry 3 will be ready on Decembe 4.

Game is gonna be amazing. They really need to stop focusing on that mohawk guy all the time in their media though.

Its been a long time since ive been this excited for a game. Wasn't a huge far cry 2 fan but this game looks so incredible. From the scenery to the wildlife to the gameplay. This is what a AAA game should amount to nowadays. AC3 looks good too but this just tops it in my opinion.

for this game ubisoft seriously needs to license jigsaws voice and the oh yes there will be blood line.
just seems to describe and fit the game oh so well!
love the open world fun and wackiness, and the midnight acid trips are icing on the cake!
when ubisoft mentioned insanity from the start i knew this would be a wacky out there game.
however i was not expecting THIS wacky!
surprised to be honest, ubi are normally the ones playing it safe……..
