You've gone behind the scenes with one of Sony's new technical marvels. Now it's time to pre-order if you so desire.
The first game to utilize the fancy new Wonderbook will be Book of Spells , a collaboration with "Harry Potter" author J.K. Rowling and capable of bringing amateur boy wizards into an augmented virtual reality world they won't soon forget.
As revealed at the PlayStation Blog , Wonderbook: Book of Spells will be available in the US on November 13. If you haven't yet jumped on the PlayStation Move bandwagon, you can pick up the special Move Bundle, which features the game, Wonderbook peripheral, PlayStation Eye, and PlayStation Move motion controller. It's not a bad deal for $79.99, if you think about it.
However, if you've already got the Move and Eye, you can just grab the game and Wonderbook peripheral for the price of $39.99. It could be the perfect gift for just the right person…

I don't think this thing is going to take off, the broomstick kid will give it a boost but that's it.
I'm not so sure, I think parents will hit up on these Wonderbooks hot & heavy.
At least I hope they will, and that it becomes a even bigger hit for Sony than antivision's AR Skylanders are right now.
I'm buying into it. I have kids and I think it'll be something fun to play together. I think this has a lot of potential if handled right. Just imagine if somebody did some more adult storybooks too. I'm also looking forward to Diggs and Walking with the Dinosaurs. I mean come on who doesn't like dinosaurs.
i think your right ….. they can do many things with the wonder book …. for kids and adults …..
I love reading and I'm pretty sure many others on this site do to. I think people just aren't looking at it the right way. Books are for the young and old. There are so many great writers out there that Sony needs to look at the full potential of this. Hopefully it really catches on. Now reading a book could be interactive.
I plan on getting a game for my daughter that utilizes the Wonderbook, but it won't have J.K. Rowling's name on it. What else do you have Sony?
The concept of the PS move has been good at most. Hopefully by the videos it looks good, however, at times seems repetitive. Maybe you can buy more "books" on the PSN network in the future. Personally, I will buy 2 and resell them for more their value. This and the WiiU near Christmas , instant money maker. Knowing Sony and Nintendo, they will make not enough units to meet demand. Parents will freak out because Christmas is just around the corner and pay anything for this and specially the WiiU. Just remember when the Wii came out.
I'll give it the shelf life of the home dance pads.
World,
Ha, I bought the Extreme Dance Mat for my PS1.
Tried it once only to sample it & then right back into the box, it went ASAP.
haha
