Capcom's new IP is called Remember Me , and it features a female protagonist and a slick futuristic setting.
We learned a little about what to expect last month, but now we've got seven minutes of very intriguing gameplay, straight from Gamescom. You might be surprised by what you see…
There are both stealth and platforming elements involved, which remind us of several different AAA franchises. But at the same time, there's the unique process of invading a target's mind and getting him to do what you want, even if the goal involves murder or suicide. It's a Memory Remix of some sort, and the heroine, Nilin, is acrobatic, highly capable, and seemingly quite intelligent.
What was once known as "Adrift" appears to be a definite winner.

Capcom continues to shock me. Dragons dogma turned out to be thousands of times better than i thought. RE6 is a little on the side for me but ive been a fan since the beginning so i have to buy it. Now this, it looks NEW and not some over used gamestyle that i've seen since this gens launch. Im excited for this now and it wasn't because someone altered my memories…or did they
Thats Wild! Capcom has another winner
Cool, this one has a Deus Ex meets Mirrors Edge kind of feel to me.
Haha yeah I remember someone saying "Assassin's Creed meets Deus Ex."
Looks very interesting though.
welp i guess im gonna spend another entire game staring at te main character…im sure ill highly appreciate the gameplay the second and third times i play through this, im gonna pre order this once i get an exact date =)
Epic mixing of drama and gameplay. This is the kind of thing I like to see coming instead of more and more sequels. I can't even list all of the great stuff this borrows from. If it does so effectively it will be a sure winner. I'm down.
This has reassured me with the game, I wanted another video where she confronts a helicopter and I was annoyed how they kept switching back from cutscene to gameplay every 20 seconds. But this looks really good. I like how you can play out the scenarios in the Memory remix. Even though it seems you can only get one outcome , I guess not every game is Heavy Rain 😛
The environments looks fantastic! They looks so active, people seems like they are living out their lives. This is looking like a contender for a 1st day purchase…

Hopefully some scenarios have various ways to get things done and that scene was just more straight forward because (as it seemed to me) it was an instructional encounter.
Looks really good.
It's great to see Japanese companies still have the will to compete and make great games. This is looking good.
I was very excited, but now I'm only excited. I wish they choose a different type of combat style =(. So sad when I saw this. I'll get this one with a nice preorder bonus or wait for the price cut to buy it new.
It looks great. I only wish it looked more realistic instead of that ruddy comic book appearance.
Not I, this Japanese style is best imo for futuristic creative settings and western realism is best for shooters and such.
Developer: Dontnod Entertainment
So if a company publishes a game…we all suddenly have faith that they can make good games? Both Square Enix and Capcom seem to really be counting on their western developers to make a profit.
I still wait to see SE and Capcom back in their game and actually DEVELOP some EPIC games as they once used to.
