Who's ready to laugh?
As of September 1, PlayStation 3 owners will have the opportunity to download an official Laugh Factory application from the PSN. Laugh Factory Live is all about live comedy and it's the first such app to be available on any console.
If you're unfamiliar, The Laugh Factory is a popular comedy club that has played host to well-known comedians like Carlos Mencia, Tim Allen, Dave Chappelle, and Jimmy Fallon. By downloading the app, you can check out some of the "best moments of the club's past" along with new performances in the future (no word yet on who to expect on stage). The best part? All programming through the app will be free until December. If you get hooked during this free trial period, you'll only have to ante up $3/month to keep watching in 2013.
Ah yes, I remember the days with the papers, interviewing comedians like Mencia. It was amusing, to say the least.
its free so might as well check it out. hope Jerry Seinfeld is in there somewhere.
Jerry Seinfeld is the devil.
I'm definitely down for this! I saw Lewis Black a few months ago in Roanoke, VA. He was still as funny as he used to be. Would love to see a shouting match between him and Gilbert Gottfried.
Oh man, I couldn't stand Mencia but Chappelle always cracked me up. I wish he hadn't spazzed out and left his show.
Passing on this app, I love comedy but there's too many games to play.
I'll pass too ill never get my backlog down lol but least the option is there unless the apps only for the USA in which case it won't affect us across the pond
Just give me another season of the tester. It definitely has a lot of lol moments.
Btw Ben, did you know Neon Alley is coming to PS3? Something similar to Crunchyroll, but with all english dubs. I first saw it in my otaku usa magazine.
Ha-hahahaaa-hahaha-haaaa…
Going to have a good laugh if the app can be run from Singapore. I will have to route via my PC proxy internet connection that gives me access to UK and USA stuff natively…
Haaaa-hhaahah-haaaa-haaaa…
