Go Behind The Scenes With Beyond, Meet Two New Actors

We already know that Beyond: Two Souls will feature Ellen Page, but Quantic Dream hasn't stopped there.

They're recruiting other recognizable talent as well, and two more actors have been revealed in a cool new behind-the-scenes trailer.

Kadeem Hardison and Eric Winter have signed on to the project; if you're old enough, you might remember Hardison in "The Cosby Show" spinoff "A Different World," and he also had a few roles in movies, too. Personally, I remember him in "White Men Can't Jump." Anyway, he'll be playing a government researcher investigating paranormal activity. Winter was in "Harold and Kumar: Escape from Guantanamo Bay," but we're not exactly sure which role he has assumed in Beyond .

Just… wow. It's official, mocap/voicework for Quantic Dream requires much better acting skills than a movie.

Yeah, there are so many subtle things that you have to think about: people can control you & you have to act like they expect, depending on which choice they made in the game, for example. It's not just simply acting for the cameras; you're also acting for the gamers. It's almost a new frontier in acting.

nice!
so cant wait for this, i really hope the story this time is as involving and interesting as the characters are!
one thing that really spoiled heavy rain, you really cared for the characters and you really did feel especially for ethan.
but as for the characters relationships you really did not believe their motions.
madasen for example did not feel like she was helping ethan because she cared for him, loved him, but just so she could get her news story!
really hurt the believability of the game.
as for the story itself, well it was as believable as your typical michael bay film!
and had more holes in it than swiss cheese!

another thing david and crew really need to work on is the choices and consequences.
every single time the game was shown they promised you can do multiple things and each time you choose something it will instantly effect the story and effect what happens later.
but it doesent, it changes squat!
all the choices do is unlock a new cut scene here or there thats about it!
like manfreds shop, if you erase all of your prints well done the story goes on, but if you dont the ONLY thing it changes is you get a cut scene showing the explanation why he was in there.
wow, that totally changed the story in a massive amazing way!

another thing that really worries me is that david is always complaining that most games these days are just about big action sequences, theres no consequences, no emotion!
its just big bang for the sake of big bang.
well watch the leaked demo from E3, its EXACTLY the same!
the petrol station exploding, sound familiar?
im just worried hes caved into the pressure a little and this is going to have more mindless action sequences than it should.

Wow..I liked how Page was able to give her opinion on what should happen and they actually gave it thought. Plus she's doing her own mini stunts as well..can't wait for more info for this game.

No wonder they only make a 10-20 hour game. Thats alot of work just on the acting.
