Ready to PLAY?

Sony Computer Entertainment America (SCEA) has announced that PSN Play, the summer program showcasing a diverse array of appealing titles and special offers, returns on July 24. At that time, the featured games will become available for pre-order on the PSN in the US, Canada and Mexico.

If you decide to purchase two or more of the four titles, you'll receive a bonus cash voucher for the PSN, and anyone who buys a game during the pre-order period will get an exclusive PS3 XMB theme (based on the title purchased). Oh, and if you're a PlayStation Plus member, Sony will toss you a 20% discount for a limited time. Here's that voucher deal:

As for the four games on the PLAY lineup and when they're arriving:

If you're interested, you should probably take advantage and maybe save yourself a few bucks. There are plenty of reasons to log on to the PlayStation Network these days; when was the last time you indulged in the horde of cool PSN content?

Seems like a weak list. Counter Strike should be played on PC too.

I'll definitely be buying Sound Shapes and Papo & Yo. Maybe Counter Strike but really not sure about Expendables. The video looked cool but have a gut feeling it'll suck.

Can't wait for the movie though.

Hmmm, Sony should've came up with 10 to 12 games for this list, so there would be a bigger crop to chose from.

still waiting for $ony to whip up their version of splosion man, god that was such a fun game!
