It seems like any popular game is going Hollywood these days.
The latest is Deus Ex: Human Revolution , last year's critically acclaimed action/RPG from Square Enix. CBS Films has announced the project, which will be produced by Roy Lee ("The Departed," "The Ring") and Adrian Askarieh ("Hitman"). John P. Middleton ("7500") is on board as executive producer.
It also seems that both developer Eidos Montreal and Square Enix are working closely with CBS Films on the movie, which is good news. We're hearing a lot of this lately; when movies based on games are revealed, the original creators are usually part of the process. Maybe that will translate to better products in the theaters…? Said CBS Films co-president Terry Press:
"No one knows Human Revolution like the team that created it and we look forward to working with them from day one to make a film adaptation worthy of the Deus Ex name."
The film still needs a director and we have no clues about the cast, but who might be best suited to play Adam Jensen? That could be a very interesting choice…any good ideas?

Keanu Reeves? He's the same body type and has that cold, calm Jensen look.
Normally I'd agree but they probably want to focus on how this movie isn't just a Matrix takeoff.
Yeah I agree, actually after I posted the comment I thought, "hmmm… But that'd make me just think of Matrix throughout the entire movie".
I remember how Constantine got the rep of being "Neo goes to Hell"
Awesome. There should be some awesome actor to play adam jensen.I can't think of any.
Cool. I nominate Mark Wahlberg. Haha I kid I kid.
Oh dear, I loved HR and my pessimism around video game movies now won't let me sleep tonight…
hmmm…. Michael Fassbender's pretty cool.
whoever plays adam jensen has to feel that he didn't ask for any of this
brad pitt wouuld make a good jensen
It seems a lot of people in the movie industry are trying to make a movie out of a lot of video games lately.. everyone else notice this?
I've actually been playing this the past couple of weeks. It never gets old.
Well the role better be someone with a smooth voice lol.
one game that actually should adopt to movies quite well!
heres hoping this turns out as they say, a worthy addition to the deus ex name!
however, of course, usual scepticism applies.
if the rock has taught me anything, its to always be weary of movie tie ins!
i always thought doom would be a really good movie since id were involved in it, and, well, yeah………….
The first person that popped into my head was Ryan Reynolds but he doesn't quite have the voice. Hmm, I'd hate to have to make that decision. Anyway, with Eidos and Square Enix providing feedback I am curious but I have been burned before.
