You've been waiting on some great downloadable games to drop in price, haven't you? Just admit it.
Well, it's almost time to strike. Thanks to the latest Sony Blogcast (as cited at Gaming Everything ), the PSN Summer Sale is just around the corner.
As of July 5, PSN users will be able to grab a number of titles at a 30% discount, while PlayStation Plus members get a bigger 50% discount. This should sound familiar, because the Network's Spring Sale usually follows such parameters. As for the titles involved, there should be quite a few, including Shadow of the Colossus HD , inFamous: Festival of Blood , Killzone 3 multiplayer, Renegade Ops , Worms Ultimate Mayhem , Magic Orbz , Closure , Crysis , House of the Dead 3 , NBA Jam , and more.
Also, Atlus will start up a sale that features the critically acclaimed Catherine ($20), Droplitz ($5), Rock of Ages ($5), and Trine 2 ($7.49). The official info should arrive tomorrow but we figured you'd want to get the jump on planning. Your I-net connection might get a workout, huh?
Don't need any of those, I did buy I Am Alive recently and it's pretty cool so far 🙂
Maybe I'll give Catherine a shot now….
You probably should, it's awesome.
Yeah I think I give it a go as well.
if the first crysis is like $10 i might pick that up.
That game is just *so* worth it.
meh, not really.
Recently got Trine 2 for free with Plus, its a blast. It'd be well worth the $7 to buy it with this sale.
Pretty much own the others already. Would consider buying the KZ3 MP if it were cheap enough just so I had that on my HDD.
I bought the full game for 15 used , that mp stuff only is a scam .
I wouldn't say its a scam, its the multiplayer and all the DLC for $7.39 (for PS+) thats less than the cost of all the DLC. Its one I'm planning on picking up this week.
Just found out the voice actor for Vincent from Catherine, is also playing Joel in The Last of Us.
Troy Baker, nice trivia.
I would happily give 15$ up to install BF3 MP on my HD, free up the drive for something else…
I was hesitant to get inFamous:Festival of Blood but now at $6.99, I'll get it once the sale starts.
i paid full price for it and love it. the game is awesome. the vampire powers really add a nice twist to the game.
Festival of Blood is worth more than the price
I think I shall pick up "Rock of Ages" this week.
Nothing quite like smashing up satirical representations of historical figures, in an overall style reminiscent of and old Monty Python short, using massive boulders!
