Resident Evil 6 is coming your way in October and if you're anxiously anticipating the release date, here's a little gift.
Two videos totaling over 19 minutes of gameplay allow us to see the game in action for an extended period of time. There's a fair amount of story progression and we get to see a lot of action, too. The ability to actually move and shoot is a necessity this time around, even if the zombies don't appear to be as quick as the undead in RE5.
It's also interesting to see that partner dynamic, which was also on display in RE5. Sheva was a darn good teammate; we just hope all our teammates in RE6 are as competent. Check it out:

Shame on you!
Did you attend the Jubilee?
No I actually didnt, i had to work on those days.
I'm picking it up used as long as there is no online pass. If there is, I'll hold off on it until its $40 or cheaper.
Jawk post your PC troubles in the forums. I'm still trying to find a solution and who knows maybe someone in their has run into the issue.
K, will do once I'm back on front of it. 🙂
Okay. It's posted.

Thanks in advance guys.
I already paid for this in full. along with Hitman.
I'll get this on the cheap because I really grew to like Leon and Ashley in RE4. I do not like zombie hunting teammates though. I work alone.
Same. I picked up RE5 Gold pack (whatever the hell they're calling it) for $20 off the PSN and enjoyed it. Had I spent $60 I would have been about as pissed as I am about FFXIII-2.
haha I'm still pretty pissed about FFXIII-2 too. I'm still gonna force myself to finish it though. I'm hoping one day we all look back these debacles and laugh because the series will find it's feet again one day.
Seriously Crapcom? You added a waypoint?
Do developers think their consumers are stupid? Why must there be waypoints in every freakin game this gen?
Because nobody is smart enough to know where to go. I've gotten so used to them I am totally lost in Silent Hill Downpour.
I played through Dead Space without even realizing you could click R3 to show you the way. It was a lot better in my opinion. After knowing you had a waypoint in 2, it was just boring.

I avoided using the waypoint line in both of them unless I was totally lost.
maybe it'll give you the choice to turn them off in the options
I loved the waypoint in dead space . if it said to go right i went left .Thx to it i was sure not to miss one thing and that s good because i rarely replay a game .
"Seriously Crapcom"
New & original.
Waypoints are a good idea imo, they worked well in games such as Dead Space when i got lost on occasion.
Not sure I will be picking this up D1. I am a RE fan but it all depends on what else is available at the hottest time of the year. I will probably be playing Borderlands 2 still. I hope it's a good game that's for sure. So far it looks great. This is Capcom so nothing is a for sure thing with them anymore.
I'm one of the few(?) who actually enjoyed RE5, mostly due to the fun coop play. I'll have no problem with waiting for it to hit the bargain bin, but then I'll pick it up.
Co-op play is good but I wish that didn't always translate to having an AI partner in the single player.
Agreed.
Hmmm, i'll be picking it up, but at a later point, can't see much survival horror in it.
Looks pretty good. I just don't think zombies have the same scare factor they used to. Everything has zombies.
Resident Evil sucks after 3.
Evidently you never played the RE remake for Gamecube. It's the best in the series.
4 is pretty good too.
I have played it and its awesome.I'm saying the evolution of sequels
"Evidently you never played the RE remake for Gamecube"
True and it might even be the best game i ever played .
Game looks awesome… Can't wait to get it… it i like how they went back to that dark gritty look where everything is dark and zombies come outta nowhere
Yeah … I wait for the version with all the dlc.
Huh? Where did you read this? I've heard nothing about it coming to the PSN.
What are you talking about , it s not the remake , it s the on rail shooter that is coming on psn .
lol …
Day 1 for me , the Leon campaign is the selling point for me .The Jake one don t look too bad either .
Can t say the same about Chris , non stop action have no place in a resident evil game .
only 2 more weeks till the demo is live!
looking forward to this.
its always been held back because its a action game with stupid sluggish 1900 controls, now they have FINALLY added a more slick control system we can finally enjoy it for what it is!
i just hope this time the friendly AI is not like a 16 year old spoiled brat with daddies CC!
god, if i had a nickel for every time i had to take every single thing off sheva because she was using a shotgun on a single basic enemy, or using a green herb because i lost 1% of my health, id never have to work another minute in my life!
i still remember the first time i played through the deserted oil field level with the chain saw boss battle.
every enemy before that she was using the shotgun, and now when your suppose to use something with a bit more juice she switches to the pistol.
The game looks brilliant. Loved the intense mood setting within the elevator. Will be grabbing this like a needy zombie come release.
