Video games can keep us all young. It's the honest truth…or as one legendary rapper might say, "foshizzle."
Rapper Snoop Dogg has finished creating a track for the upcoming Tekken Tag Tournament 2 and he freely admits to playing games.
"I'm a grown man but I still feel like I'm a kid at heart because I'm able to play games and buy games and still be associated with games."
Snoop Dogg also has a cameo appearance in TTT2 and the track he made for the hotly anticipated title is simply called "Tekken." You can hear him talk about it in a brief video through the link. This actually isn't the first time Snoop has been involved in the industry; he was also featured in True Crime: Streets of LA and Def Jam: Fight for NY .
"I've been associated with a couple of fighting games over the years, but this has probably been the most official because Tekken is one of the elite. No disrespect to any of the other games that I've done, but this game has been around for almost 20 years or more, so for me to be connected with it is a beautiful thing."
Well, he knows Tekken is an iconic name in the industry and he knows about how long it's been around for, so we're not about to question his fondness for gaming. By the way, Tekken Tag Tournament 2 is slated to release for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in September.
