Mass Effect 3 Rebellion DLC Offers New Content Next Week

It's time to enhance your online multiplayer Mass Effect 3 experience. Ready?

As announced at the BioWare Blog , the Rebellion DLC Pack hits the PlayStation Network, Xbox Live, and PC on Tuesday, May 29 in North America (and a day later in Europe).

This expansion opens two fronts against the vicious Reapers: Firebase Jade's jungle reservoir and Firebase Goddess on Thessia. Reinforcement packs will include three new weapons; the Reegar Carbine, Krysae Sniper Rifle, and Cerberus Harrier, along with new equipment, consumables, and six new characters from species that have "lost lives or whole planets" to the Reapers. There's the Vorcha Soldier, Vorcha Sentinel, Male Quarian Engineer, Male Quarian Infiltrator, Ex-Cerberus Vanguard, and Ex-Cerberus Adept. Click through the link above to learn more about each.

We're still waiting on that expansion that will supposedly fix the whole ending hullabaloo (I just like typing that word), but that doesn't have a finalized date just yet. So for now, you'll just have to be satisfied with more multiplayer DLC, okay?

With that whole extra ending DLC, is it going to be multiple different endings or just one that ties all loose ends together?

I was wondering when they were releasing that, it's been a while now.

They announced it as summer, and there have been reports of voice actors returning, such as Tricia Helfer (EDI), Lance Henriksson (Admiral Hackett), and others (such as Kimberly Brooks and Raphael Skarge, Ashley and Kaidan respectively).

Summer could mean the first week of June or the end of August, so there is confirmed release date as of yet.

this is another reason why people did not want MP in ME3!
bioware pissed off so many people with the crappy ending of ME3, you would think that would be their first and main priority right?
nope, there more concerned in shelling out MP content after MP content before they even give us one letter about the SP DLC!
god i hate bioware!
their lack of care for the fans is disgusting!

During ME3's development, Bioware divided up into two teams: one for singleplayer, the other for multiplayer. These kits (such as the Rebellion one in the article and the Resurgence Pack a couple weeks ago) have actually been in production weeks in advance prior to being announced.

Thus, the ending DLC has been in production since its announcement (beginning in April).

No need to fret 😛
