While some said they want to see some gameplay, the majority polled say the freshly announced God of War: Ascension is gonna kick ass.
That's a fairly safe assumption to make, given the fact that we're looking at one of the highest-rated franchises in video game history. Sony Santa Monica and Ready at Dawn will very likely deliver a gem; everyone will be awfully surprised if the game falls short. The addition of multiplayer won't have a negative impact on the campaign – the developers assured us of this last week – and Kratos is back. Yeah, we're a little worried they may give us a gentler, more sensitive Kratos, but there's no way they remove all the dude's attitude. Right?
This week, Starhawk arrives. Although Warhawk did very well, it also released way back in 2007, when a whole lot of gamers still didn't have the PS3. But with a single-player campaign and an even deeper multiplayer component, Lightbox Interactive has prepared quite the robust package. So what do you say…are you in?

Im excited to get a prequel but Im very interested in seeing some more Multiplayer. I've seen whats out thus far but i want more info on it. I could get into that hands down
Ready At Dawn is working on it too huh? I wonder if Santa Monica plans to pass the franchise onto them or if they are just working on their bona fides for console development. All I know is one of them needs to make Heavenly Sword II before this gen is out.
No interest in Starhawk but for MP fans it should be aces.
Ill buy it later on. When the price is right.
$20 I say. Maybe $30.
Well, after playing the Starhawk Beta I am very impressed. The engine is fantastic, and so are the graphics. Looks very polished generally and made of high production values…

I don't feel much hyped with a prequel.but whatever…day one for me.

i remember a trailer a few months ago leaking for this and you could hear kratos brother narrating it.
constantly egging him on saying he needs to break the bonds.

i remember just after GOW3 came out there were so many stories of it getting a expansion with kratos brother in co-op.
looks like they decided to save it for this instead…..
as for starhawk i really enjoyed the beta so im looking forward to it.
i never enjoy MP games but this has really turned me to it its actually allot of fun!
i really hope they get behind the game though.
$ony has released so many awesome MP games this gen but they have fallen flat on there face simply because they really lack support!
i really hope they change that with this, its such a awesome game and has such a loyal community, they really need to get behind it!
its such a awesome game, so much effort and love has gone into creating it id be a massive shame to see it wasted!

I am one of those gamers that is very excited for GoWA! I am very interested in the MP as well. This will be a fantastic game.

First time hearing about Starhawk.
So I went and looked at some footage, and saw the official release trailer. Game looks interesting, like a combination of Unholy War, Jak & Daxter and Uprising X (especially this one).
Will have to see how the game is…
I honestly was very lukewarm on Starhawk until I played the beta. Really impressive. People who don't like online MP should have zero interest in the title though. The campaign doesn't look like anything other than a tutorial for the MP, anything better than that will be a pleasant surprise.
I also was suckered into preordering it at Gamestop after reading about all the bonuses you get. I just wish they had the same deal with Amazon
