It's long past time KB got into a PlayStation game.

Firstly, it seems LittleBigPlanet Karting has a launch date of October 31, 2012, if you didn't already know. This off-shoot of the stellar platforming franchise is to be expected, although some will say we kinda already got one…remember ModNation Racers ? Yeah, it's on both PS3 and Vita now.

But anyway, if you're all pumped for some karting fun with Sackboy and Co., you can always pre-order the anticipated title. And according to various sources, including ShackNews , if you choose to do so with either GameStop or Amazon, you'll get Kevin Butler. …well, kinda. Sackboy will get a KB costume and exclusive golf cart if you place your deposit with either of the aforementioned retailers. It's one of those incentives that isn't worth much in terms of gameplay but it's almost too silly to ignore.

What we need next is KB's likeness in Killzone 4 or something. In fact, maybe he should become like the moogle in Final Fantasy , in that he's in every PlayStation-exclusive title in some capacity. Even if it's just a billboard or something.

I'm still as surprised today as I was when I heard about this game that, Sony is releasing two Kart games that will be in direct competition. Three things though are that LBP is a bigger name than ModNation, and two ModNation did release a while ago and lastly they have a chance to do things better. Although ModNation was pretty dang well done! I love that game.

now that has to be the lamest preorder bonus ever offered!
i really cant see the point of this, why not just do a MNR sequel?
are $ony really that delusional that they believe since this has LBP on the box it will sell better then a MNR sequel would?
sigh.
this is EXACTLY why things cant become popular these days!
as soon as they do they become whored out to every thing in the relevant vicinity, and to some extent irrelevant!

of course it is, but thats because allot of people dont like kart racers.
kart racers are seen to be for kids only which obviously is not true but thats the stereotype.
where platformers like LBP are for all ages, so of course LBP would be a bigger household name because its in a more popular genre.
does not mean $ony should be pulling a crapcom on us!
thats what ill never be able to understand.
crapcom take a famous franchise and turn it into something its not the sh*t hits the fan.
$ony does the same………… crickets.
why is it ok for $ony to whore out the LBP franchise, but crapcom gets their head bitten off when they whore out the RE franchise?
