Well, maybe this one will stick.
Initially expected to release in March, Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2 was delayed and we weren't given a new date. However, City Interactive has delivered one : August 21. That's when it will finally drop for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC.
Utilizing the critically acclaimed CryEngine 3 and featuring plenty of satisfyingly gory head shots, this follow-up should be great for military aficionados. The sequel will also boast a revamped AI system and "more diverse challenges," so we'll be looking forward to a more robust, realistic sharpshooting adventure. There's always something oddly fulfilling about lying in wait for your target, completely hidden and fully prepared to perform your duty…calm, but always on the lookout for anything that could expose your position. Slow movements, slow breathing, a steady finger, and the job is done. Yeah, I always like to play the sniper in shooters.
And here comes a game where your primary goal is to be a sharpshooter in hiding! Cool!
