Mass Effect 3 is a fantastic game, but it could definitely be a touch more stable.

Gamers have complained of a number of technical issues and now, BioWare plans to address those little eccentricities with a fix-it patch . It's available now for PC players and console players can download it tomorrow.

Click through the link to see the full list; the team will fix the game's facial import bug (Commander Shepard's imported facial features weren't lookin' right), and it also addresses multiple game-crashing bugs and connectivity issues. Here's a quick sampling from BioWare's website:

— Fixed an issue when quickly and repeatedly selecting to Resume a Save could result in Player Level reset and a potential locking of powers.

— Fixed an issue when selecting Multiplayer in the Main Menu while under a poor network connection could result in an unresponsive state.

— Fixed a potential crash while accessing an in-game terminal from Eden Prime level.

— Fixed an issue when attempting to login while Server is down. It would display a Server Down message and accepting the Server Shutdown message would shut down the game.

— Fixed a potential memory crash while loading a Quick Save of a custom FemShep.

Don't forget that the free Resurgence Pack is due out tomorrow as well, and they've got the Extended Cut coming this summer. Don't worry, BioWare is on top of things.

So far so good 16 glorious hours in. Nice to know they are fixing problems. Should be a smooth ride to the end.

I like. ME3 is a bit too buggy for my taste but I am really enjoying it. There are very few franchises this gen that can touch Mass Effect's story & universe..pun intended

No fixing the framerate issues on PS3. That's the main reason I haven't started playing it yet.

With motionflow you dont need to worry about framerate issues.

Great news. There are quite a few things I hope to see fixed in time, but especially the poor access to 'Galaxy at War' (and my connection is excellent when doing anything else on my PS3) and a weird bug that prevents me from finishing a certain side quest (when I found out about it, it was too late to go back). Still a wonderful game, so here's hoping they keep up the patches and extra content.
