Role-playing fans who got lost in such an engaging world are likely to be interested in content that expands the experience.

The developers have already obliged with a couple expansion packs, but it seems they're not done. According to some never-before-seen Achievements posted up at Xbox360Achievements , more DLC is coming for the well-received Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning .

The site lists 6 new Achievements (which we can almost guarantee will translate to Trophies on the PS3) that reflect this upcoming content; as you can get an Achievement for falling off the Idylla Concourse and dying, and defeating Kahrunk without killing any of his attendants. We haven't heard anything official but we imagine the untitled content will be available soon. If you haven't done so yet, feel free to grab the House of Valor and The Legend of Dead Kel DLC, both of which are now available.

Also, don't forget that 38 Studios founder Curt Schilling said they definitely plan on doing a sequel. That much probably isn't surprising given the success their first game has enjoyed.

Has anyone played House of Valor and The Legend of Dead Kel? Are they any good?

My wife has played through the House of Valor DLC and really enjoyed it. We haven't picked up Dead Kel yet, but if the reviews are any indication, it should be worth the investment.

Awesome, great to know. Thanks.
I'll jump straight back to Amalur as soon as ME3 is consumed!

I Bought The Legend of Dead Kel but have been to busy with all the freaking side quests in the game to give it a go yet.

Unfortunately I don't find the world all that engaging, but there's plenty of room for the IP to improve since the fighting is so cool.

It most certainly doesn't have the writing qualities of the Bioware games. That's a fact that hit me in the face when I started playing ME3 – it was just so endlessly much more engaging than Amalur.

I still like the game though. It's a very nice "filler".

I'll be spending so much time in Skyrim and ME3 that I am holding off this title for now. There might even be a GITY edition including dlc by the time I am in a position to buy. I really liked the demo though.
