As Eurogamer tells us today, Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2008 will be the very first title to utilize EA's GamerNet service.

This service will be a big advantage for online gamers, as it will let players save their best shots, holes, or entire rounds before posting them up on leaderboards for public viewing. Furthermore, if you take some initiative and participate in certain challenges, you could also wind up with some free online points…you know, provided you actually conquer those challenges.

As for the game itself, the latest Tiger installment will feature a brand new Photo Game Face system, which will let us create and customize in-game character faces using pictures you upload. In other words, you could feasibly slap your own face on Tiger's body; heck, you could even make him wear your clothing! Well, we think so, anyway.

EA didn't specify which version(s) of the game would boast the new feature, or whether they plan to include such a concept in other titles. Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2008 is scheduled for all platforms: PS3, Xbox 360, PS2 (really?), Wii, PSP, DS, and PC. As of now, we don't have an exact release date.
