Who's ready for the return of Sly Cooper ? Yeah, we know you've been waiting a while but have no fear…the mischievous blue raccoon swings into action later this year.
According to GameSpot , developer Sanzaru Games has revealed that the new adventure, Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time , will launch exclusively on the PlayStation 3 this fall.
Prior to this news, we only had a vague "TBA 2012" release window. And although Sucker Punch isn't responsible for this new entry, Sanzaru isn't entirely unfamiliar with the series; they helped with the Sly Collection that released back in 2010, and also produced the PS2 title, Secret Agent Clank . Remember, that Collection features high-def re-imaginings of the first three games- Sly Cooper and the Thievius Raccoonus , Sly 2: Band of Thieves , and Sly 3: Honor Among Thieves , and we say it's well worth a look.
Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time is a long-awaited title and one platformer fans should really enjoy. Don't get a lot of pure platformers these days.
