Last week, we learned European gamers would have to wait a bit longer for Twisted Metal .

At the time, Eat Sleep Play boss David Jaffe said this was due to some localization issues, and SCEE needed to cut some content. Jaffe was none too happy about that but as he said, it's "not his game" and he has no control over the content that stays or goes. He also said Europe should be getting the reboot in early March, possibly as early as the 1st.

As it turns out, he wasn't too far off. He revealed on his blog that Twisted Metal would be released in "SCEE territories" on March 7. It sucks that our friends across the pond will get a slightly gimped version, but…well, them's the breaks. Can't fight city hall. At the very least, this means everyone will have access to one of the most anticipated titles of 2012 within the next month. It'll still be on store shelves here in the US on February 14, and we can't wait to give it a try. It has been so long since we last blew sh** up in vehicular mayhem!

Valentine's Day seems so appropriate, don't you think?

Gonna be some pissed off girlfriends out there. Say I wonder why they would cut content for Europe? It's not like they are prudes across the pond.

I'm getting the US version, good thing they bring both US and EU versions here…

After playing the demo (a lot), I decided I'm gonna pick Darkside. Ramming people with a semi never felt so good , too bad I can't do it in real life.

The demo was fun I had a good time playing it, I can't wait till I can get the game, I know my brother is getting a copy when it releases so I might have to nab his copy and play some single player until I can get my own.

With the closure of ESP, cut content and delays I am honestly inclined to not even import at this stage. Give it a miss entirely. I love you Jaffe but I am finding it hard to see a purchase warranted.
