Woah…that's a lot of DLC.
Most high-profile releases have special editions these days, and the upcoming Prototype 2 is no different. The Radnet Edition will indeed be "limited" but if you act quickly, you can get your hands on 55 pieces of extra content. Yeah, 55.
Activision has revealed the special edition of the upcoming sequel, and it can be yours if you only pre-order the game. Doing so grants you access to Radnet through a one-time use code. If you pick it up on on launch day without pre-ordering, you might still nab the code as they'll be present in first-run copies…but there's no knowing how long those will last.
Redeeming the code will net you 55 pieces of free downloadable content that will give you in-game events, challenges, avatar items, themes, and behind-the-scenes videos. The content drops will begin on the game's launch, April 24, and keep coming all the way through June 7. Lastly, Activision has teased some sort of "ultimate shape-shifting reward," but we're not really sure what it is yet.
Nobody knows if all this content will be made available for purchase later on, so maybe if you're excited about Prototype 2 , you should just ensure you get your 55 DLC pieces and pre-order now.

55 things which should come with the game anyway… Not interested – Nor am I interested in the game tbh. But I don't like this as a campaign, I am sick of seeing companies exploit us with DLC this isn't helping.
Frankly, I wasn't overly impressed with the first installment. I think I'll wait to see what the building hype suggests as launch day approaches.
so they already have 55 pieces of DLC planned for this game? $MH
I definitely will not be buying this, not that I was going to in the first place.
Don't know about the pre-order but I'm definitely getting the game though.

Who ever the 2 ppl are who thumb me down for saying I'm getting the game sucks…..
I'm not going to pre-order this game simply for DLC. Yet, I am getting this game. First one was ok..but this one looks to be far superior to the previous entry given the details that have been presented. This may be a sleeper hit
I think DLC that's ready to go on launch day should be included with the game. DLC is supposed to be extra content like map packs or whatever that are made after release and are an addition to the full game, not content that the devs just choose to withhold.
On a side note, it would be interesting to know how much DLC content that is released after launch could have been put on the disc.

I thought the first one was terrible. Just uninspired gore fest. Now I've been reminded who the publisher is – this ones not happening.
Definetly not getting it when they took out 55 things it should include…
First one wasn't very good.
Just because there's a lot of BS DLC doesn't mean people are gonna play your game longer. And I really don't think its gonna increase sales a huge amount.
At this point, they might as well just make the whole game DLC, or go the iPod-game route and make everything you want to use worth a price. That's what its coming to.
I could think of 55 reasons NOT to buy this game. How bout they fix the problems with MW3 first. Then i might consider buying another Activision game.
and they are?
come on this is looking f*cking awesome!
The first one was boring after a few hours. I'm renting this.
now THIS is how you include a online pass!
REWARD players not PUNISH them!
however it kinda sucks as a LE though, i mean the whole point of LEs is something to hold onto.
a figurine, something to put on the shelf and watch collect dust.
having things in digitalized form just takes away the collectors value of them.
I have no interest in the game, but I almost like this promo. The only change I would've made is to have this be part of the inevitable Online Pass, like KoA did, and give something else to pre-orders.
