There are all sorts of reasons to check out the PlayStation Store next week.

Two playable demos spring to mind, as they've been confirmed in a recent PlayStation Blogcast : Twisted Metal and Syndicate .

The interesting part is that both are multiplayer samples, so either prepare to go online or have a friend ready. For the Syndicate demo, you can check out the co-op feature, which is bound to be a big attraction. We assume the Twisted Metal demo will be competitive rather than co-op but either way, a chance to play these games early is welcome. February is pretty well packed with potential gems so you'll need to make up a wishlist… It's what all savvy gamers do.

There are other demos already available, including Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning , Asura's Wrath , Grand Slam Tennis 2 , and Final Fantasy XIII-2 . By the way, as for the latter, we've got it for review…stay tuned.

Multiplayer is no fun I'll pass. The FFXIII-2 review should be interesting.

Hey Ben, concerning reviews, do you think you will have a chance at Hyperdimension Neptunia Mark 2? I'm eagerly hoping for vast improvements.

He means in Australia, though God forbid he would take a second to make himself clear to save other people the trouble of questioning him.

And yet, you always make a second post in which you do explain your original post and then attack the person who misunderstood for "acting like the world revolves around the US".

I'm getting more and more excited for TM! I wish I was home to check out the demo, but I won't even be around on V day for a full game purchase. Can't wait for the PSX review either.

Woohoo – I hope hope HOPE I got internet connection at home by the time the Syndicate demo is out. Gonna be incredibly exciting to see if the gameplay is as slick'n'smooth as it looks to be.

I get Matrix and Deus Ex vibes from the videos. That is NOT a bad sign.

Do we need to buy an online pass to play the TM demo too? Wouldn't want the developer to lose out on any $$$ ya know. Poor starving developers. Poor starving SONY. How will they ever survive? The 1%'ers are hurting so bad in this economy. They only make Billions. So sad.

Your dumb, video game developers aren't the enemy and unfairly targeting them is rediculous. Most of them aren't in the one percent.
