This doesn't come as any huge surprise, of course, but it's nice to know both projects are in development. Well, probably.

According to Eurogamer citing a Tweet from Euro retailer GAME, EA is currently working on a new Medal of Honor installment and "Need for Speed 13." …we're hoping the latter is just a working title, 'cuz that name sucks. The Twitter update in question reads:

"EA presentation was great. Had mentions of a new Medal of Honour [sic] and Need for Speed 13! EA have an exciting year ahead."

The Tweet has since gone away and EA will only say they "don't comment on rumor and speculation" (they stole that policy from Sony, damnit). Anyway, there's little to no chance that NFS will ever die, so a new entry is obvious. We just need more details on the project, and we have to hope it'll turn out better than either of last year's titles. We weren't impressed with either Need for Speed: SHIFT 2 or Need for Speed: The Run .

As for Medal of Honor , we've known for a while that EA studio Danger Close has been working on a follow-up game, as the first achieved solid success. The only question is- when are we gonna see MoH2? And when will both of these in-progress titles arrive on store shelves? Guess it's another one of those wait-and-see situations.

I'm hoping that the new Medal of Honor releases by the end of this year. I loved the first one and couldn't get enough of it. Danger Close did a great job in my opinion with the campaign, and the multiplayer was polished and great, as expected from DICE.

On a lighter note….NFS:HP 2010 is still a blast

The next Need for Speed should be an update/remake/reboot of the Underground series.

I doubt its a remake of the underground series. That era is pretty much long gone tbh.

Considering slightly mad studios and black box released an NFS game last year, I think Criterion Games are going to be the ones revealing the new title.

As a huge NFS fan I was very disappointed in the run. I wish ea would combine underground and most wanted and have it back to were you can customize your cars.

I thought the Medal of Honor campaign was pretty good. The highest difficulty was fairly easy, but nothing to get worked up over. The best part, for me, was when the enemy was surrounding you and you're team and the beat up house. Your team was talking about it being all over, and the sounds of desperation were growing more intense the longer the stage went on. That was one of the few times in gaming where I was getting nervous. So hopefully, the new Medal of Honor can be even better.

As for a Need for Speed, I don't want another title unless it's Need for Speed Underground 3. Underground 2 is still one of my favorite racing games of all time, and if they can keep the level of customization and add an abundance of new features, I'm in! That, and the comic book style story with street racing. Cops would be optional, I honestly didn't care for them in that game.

Need for Speed Underground 2. Even if it's just upgraded to HD with nothing else I'd still get it again. That was the last NFS that I truly enjoyed (other than Carbon which was pretty good too)

I really hope that the NFS title isn't being made by Criterion, because I want a new Burnout!!!

Its about time that a new burnout comes out. Burnout Crash was good fun while it lasted though
