Okay, so it wasn't the elite title some had expected. But you know, in a lot of ways, the first Killzone on the PS2 was plenty fun, and worth playing.
So after conquering Killzone 2 and Killzone 3 , you can return to the start of the trilogy: simply download the game that started it all when it arrives on the PlayStation Network on January 24.
According to Game Informer (as cited by GameSpot ), the 2004 PS2 title will retail for $9.99 and it's "part of a larger effort to release PS2 titles for the PlayStation 3." Yep, it's that "Only on PSN" program and there are a ton of games the fans want to see…go ahead, start listing 'em. Lots, right?
The PS2 had great games and quite a few timeless classics. When I say "timeless," I mean they should withstand the test of time; i.e., they shouldn't suffer too much when compared to modern-day productions. Personally, I'm hoping to see a lot of the PS2 RPGs hit the PSN. Who's up for the Shadow Hearts games?
