We had hoped to see the PS3 version of F.E.A.R. earlier this month, but unfortunately, we learned we'd have to wait until April. But at the very least, we get an official release date from Vivendi and the announcement of some exclusive content.

According to GameSpot, Vivendi games confirmed today that the atmospheric FPS would hit store shelves for the PS3 on April 24, and best of all, this latest version would include a few extras not found in the 360 or PC versions. They'll be including a whole new level and a new weapon for those who wish to experience the game on the PS3, which should excite FPS fans who haven't yet played F.E.A.R. . And of course, as far as we know, everything featured in the 360 and PC versions will also be included in the PS3 version.

Okay, so we had to wait a bit longer. At least we get a little somethin' extra!
