Assassin's Creed: Revelations is on store shelves and if you're a big fan of the franchise, you'll be happy to know that Ubisoft has already announced a date for the first batch of downloadable content.
First up is the Ancestors Character Pack, which will be available on December 13 for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 for $3.99 (320 Microsoft Points). This will add four new playable characters for the multiplayer mode: the Privateer, the Corsair, the Brigand, and the Gladiator. Gotta try the Gladiator.
Ubisoft also made mention of a second DLC pack, but they didn't shed any light on the details. Assassin's Creed: Revelations is Ezio's final quest to learn everything about his past and the secrets surrounding the Templars, his ancestor Altair, and let's face it, the fate of the whole world. Expect our review very soon.
I finally picked up AC:Brotherhood on my way home today, just because Bestbuy was selling the console versions for 9.99 (I'm guessing because of Revelation being released today). I'll be picking up Revelations on the PC at some point.
Gotta love the Assassins Creed franchise, it has to be my favorite of this console generation. I appreciate Ubisoft and their dedication to such a great storyline, i hope we can learn a little bit more about Desmonds backstory in revelations setting up the end of the Altair, Ezio, Desmond saga with next years title. Hopefully after the release of next years game ubisoft takes a nice deserved break from the yearly releases.
I don't got to.
On the side note, where's the review Ben?
I think you can expect it very soon according to the article.
loving this so far!
hope they release some SP DLC like what they did AC2 and brotherhood.
who said DLC has to be MP related only?
Only a month off? Why was this not included in the game…. I know every company is jumping on the DLC band wagon now but I am still going to raise the argument.
It's the business model.
It isn't to gamers liking – but they know they can make money from it, and subsequently is here to stay to the detriment of the wallet.
Weeeeee! Give us more money for stuff we held back!
I'm with you there, World. Usually releasing SP DLC so soon after the game just came out is utter bullsxxt!
