Episode #6 should still be playing in the PlayStation Home Community Theater if you missed it, and we've just put the fourth episode up on our YouTube Channel .

If you didn't already know, Home gets exclusivity for a while when it comes to these shows, so we have to wait to put them up on YouTube. Anyway, this fourth episode includes a few fan-requested topics, including my take on the entire Final Fantasy franchise and my game collection. I also talk about the rising cost of developing games, the always controversial online pass system, and ironically, how I couldn't seem to get into Batman: Arkham Asylum .

I say "ironically" because I just gave Arkham City a wicked high score . So it's not that I don't think the games are amazing; that's not the issue, obviously. Lastly, as you can see, the production values continue to increase incrementally with each new episode; the sixth episode in Home is probably the best yet. Stay tuned for Episode #7 and the next Home party; incentive to attend just might include free copies of…something. 😉

Ben, you need to be a one man riot in the streets in front of Square's office. As far as Batman goes, read the Knightfall saga sometime. It's what made me fall in love with the character when I was younger. I do get teary eyed when I look at my game collection. It would be nice to have the option to receive a box for the game when you buy it digitally. Hell, if you're a good artist then you could just create your own box. My gf is a great graphic designer, but I would not waste her time with that, lol.

Hey Ben, I know this is off-topic but I couldn't help but notice your Wheel of Time books in the background. I can't wait for the last book to arrive! What are your impressions of the last couple books?

On a side note- why haven't they made RPG using RJ's world? All we have had is a FPS on PC (which I had fun with but it didn't take full advantage of the license…)

I'm sorry, I really haven't read any of those books in over a decade. I was really into them at the time, though, and I remember the adventure well. 🙂

There was news a year or two ago about a possible game and movie series for Wheel of Time, nothing since though.

Good video, I t was weird seeing the US collection of Final Fantasy, to its a necessity for Final Fantasy to have the white background and logo on the cover, hence why I was angry when lighting was on the PAL cover of XIII.

We recently got a free Onlive kit in our house and It just feels wrong streaming games over the net. But for now it feels more like a PC gamers answer to console gaming, its missing all the titles which make me choose console gaming over PC gaming, so I will just have to wait and see if they release anything later on but I don't think'll ever be convinced until Sony, Microsoft and Nintendo decided to loose physical mediums.

As for XIII, I still felt it kept to its routes, far more than XII's MMO style. Though I can understand why others might overlook the tactical element of the paradigm system.

As for Arkham City, I kind of feel the same, I have never had an interest in Batman or this whole comic book phase (In fact I am generally getting sick of comic book traits invading other mediums…but I wont go there…) So I am not bothered about B:AC even if it is getting high reviews and is a well rounded game.

I can't seem to get into the post-apocalyptic games. Borderlands, Rage, Fallout, they all seem so dull to me. Can anyone help me here? I love Oblivion & all other id software games.

I played Fallout 3 quite a bit, it was a something new, especially for console gamers, But now there are just too many games similar to it. And I have also got sick of the Post-apocalyptic world. Once again I enjoyed it in Fallout, but after that it become overused and stale. I look at Rage and I just don't see what it has new to offer me.

But then when I played Oblivion, I played it for 15 hours or so, Bought a house, designed it will all my collectables and then just stopped playing it, I was conent with my house and my Orc wife who lives there randomly too. I felt no need to continue and save the world. That I still do not understand lol.
