Okay, this is for our friends across the pond.
Retailers are going to find ways to make the new PlayStation Vita more attractive, so gamers everywhere should look around for interesting promotions.
This one can be found at any Vodafone UK store: as revealed at the European PlayStation Blog , if you pick up the 3G Vita for £279, you'll get the console, a 4GB memory card, and a 3G SIM card for free. If you pay an extra £5 for a Vodafone 3G SIM card, you'll nab Wipeout 2048 .
But as it says at the Blog, why read when you can watch?
Okay, so maybe we didn't need to know how to assemble the cords. But it still makes you excited to unbox your own Vita, right?
What can they get on 4gb? 1 game?
You can bet your bippy that AT&T would never do something like this, dammit.
BTW, I was playing Uncharted on the Vita at my local Gamestop today & I was really impressed with it.
Not only was the graphics outstanding, it also felt like it was really built strong & seemed a bit heavier than the original PSP 1000.
But, I'm not sure how much of that vita's weight was due to the tethering boot locked into the bottom of the Vita which has probably kept thousands of Xbots from stealing it, LOL
Anyways, now hat I've played it, I might just have to break down & re-preorder that $299 G3 version that's bundled with the 8GB memory card, free game & free month of AT&T.

not really worth the expense.
to get the card you need to sign a plan which is for 12 months minimum cost of 600 AUD.
600 AUD for 400MB 3G access per month, the vita, and a 4GB card.
especially when the vitas only 419!
so your paying a extra 181 bucks for 3G and the card.
the card is 30 bucks so your paying 151 bucks for 12 months of 400MB 3G access.
so thats 12 bucks a month for 400MB.
im paying 15 a month for 2GBs on my ipad 2 with optus!
a bit expensive………..
They said there were no plans. Straight up pay as you go.
nope, both.
