Strategy fans are just gonna have to be patient.

Civilization Revolution 2 Plus was supposed to launch in December 2015 for PlayStation Vita, but it got pushed back to January 26, 2016. Now, unfortunately, it appears to have been delayed again.

And this delay might be significant. According to a post on the game's official Facebook page , the game is now slated to arrive "later this year."

"Sid Meier's Civilization Revolution 2 Plus for PlayStation Vita is now launching in North America and Europe later this year. The team is hard at work making sure the title lives up to fans' expectations, and we appreciate your continued patience as we take the time needed to prepare the title for global release in 2016."

The first Civilization Revolution released for consoles, PC and mobile devices but the sequel was only available for mobile platforms at first. And we were supposed to get it on Vita this week but no go.

'sigh' Delays are no fun.
