The PlayStation Vita has officially launched in Japan and thus far, gamers seem to be responding well.
Undoubtedly one of the biggest draws is the extensive launch lineup. Sony made it very clear that they wanted their new portable to greet the world with a large and diverse assortment of debut software.
And if you're wondering what to expect to see on shelves when the Vita launches here in the US, check out PS Vita Universe , where you will find a list of all 23 titles confirmed for launch. There's even a trailer for each one, so get your fill. It ranges from Square Enix's Army Corp of Hell to the intriguing Little Deviants to the almost guaranteed gem, Uncharted: Golden Abyss . Also, don't forget Zipper Interactive's Unit 13 and a new Katamari installment.
So the games are definitely there. Now it's just a matter of convincing the hardcore fans that it's all worth the cost of admission. According to recent information, the games should cost the same as PSP titles ($40), but will you shell out the $250 for the WiFi-only version or $300 for the 3G model?
