Killzone: Mercenary In Line To Receive Four More Updates

Hope you're not done with Killzone: Mercenary just yet, 'cuz developer Guerrilla Cambridge has four more updates on the way.

The four updates will begin in the next few weeks and continue until the middle of next year. The well-received Vita title is plenty solid already , but these updates will make it even better. And better is good.

Senior producer Mark Green said the first update (officially the third overall) will actually decrease the amount of space required for the game; it'll free up 800MB on the user's Vita. The previous patches have been pretty freakin' huge; the second update was a whopping 1.2GB. Update four will be available in January and it should improve the matchmaking, and it will automatically re-balance teams in multiplayer. The fifth update will incorporate offline bot play for the Mercenary and Guerrilla Warfare modes, plus toss in two more multiplayer maps.

The last update in mid-2014? Well, that will enable support for the recently announced Vita TV. Maybe by then we'll have it here in the US…

Love Killzone on my Vita. Put a lot of time into the multiplayer maps. A couple of new ones would be brilliant!

Killzone on the go. What's not to love about that!

One trophy away from the platinum, just have the 10,000 enemy kill trophy left.

I love how they're supporting this game (and for free, no less)!

Great to see Guerilla will continue to support this eventhough Shadow Fall is out now.
