More Soul Sacrifice DLC Set For June 11

The game just keeps getting bigger, and the fans are lovin' it.

The first round of downloadable content for the acclaimed PlayStation Vita title, Soul Sacrifice , dropped last week. And now, they've already announced the next DLC installment, as detailed over at the PlayStation Blog .

Two new boss characters, Dwarf and Ogre, will be added June 11. You'll also get eight more quests to try; just remember that "game progress to a certain point may b e required." The Dwarf is a renowned drunkard with a really big hammer and the Ogre…well, it's confusing; here's the description:

"In a kingdom of some note, a woman was appointed palace chef for the first time in its history. Once a simple town girl, she rose to such heights by applying all kinds of knowledge to her food. Not only did her cooking taste delicious, it had the power to cure illness and soothe the heart. Several years passed until, for some unimaginable reason, she was thrown in a dungeon to await execution. Lying in her cell, she had time to reflect on her life thus far."

Soul Sacrifice is a really entertaining game, despite its flaws. It has a great atmosphere and it's loaded with stuff to do, so it's well worth the cost of admission. Give it a try if you haven't already.

Just picked up the game yesterday. I'm totally digging the melancholy tone and the wonderful soundtrack. I'm glad they listened to the early criticism by giving us a bit more variety in both locations and bosses. Keep it coming!
