Very cool. But make sure to bring it over here, too.
Team Ninja will deliver Ninja Gaiden Sigma Plus for the PlayStation Vita in February, which is bound to satisfy the action aficionados.
It's only confirmed for Japan right now, but we're hoping the game will find its way to North America and Europe. Featuring a new hero difficulty and modified controls designed specifically for Sony's new portable, Sigma Plus basically incorporates the play style from Ninja Gaiden 3 . Said Yosuke Hayashi:
"Being a portable device, players will want to play it in smaller chunks. We’re going to incorporate the play style from Ninja Gaiden 3 into Ninja Gaiden Sigma. It will feel different than Ninja Gaiden 3, but if you play both you can enjoy everything Ninja Gaiden has been and is now."
Famitsu says the game is almost complete. Action games like this can do very well in the handheld world; we refer you to the masterful God of War titles for the PSP. Provided those adapted controls work out, you could be looking at an absolute must-have for the Vita.

I wonder if they'll release a demo:
Ninja Gaiden Sigma Plus Beta.
I'm still wishing for TEN-CHU !!!!!!!
"Weâre going to incorporate the play style from Ninja Gaiden 3 into Ninja Gaiden Sigma"
This, right here, just made me remove the game from my wanted list. I hope they don't screw this up… Time to watch it more carefully.
I wonder if it will still clock in at 60fps.
I have no plans to own the Vita, but I like seeing Ryu making his rounds. I wonder if they'll make Rachel less cut 'n paste then from how she was for PS3's Sigma.
Ugh, but the changing of the play style to the more accommodating NG3 is just downright heresy. Many recognized Ninja Gaiden Black (including myself) as near perfection as noted by Itagaki himself.
sweet!
this is one genre seriously lacking on handheld devices!
so hard to find a decent hack and slash game on mobile devices, especially the ipad!
a million puzzle games, racing games, 10 billion shooters but so few RPGs or hack and slash games!
